Uni nights .. and its all about Chiks! RUSS's 21st

Wednesday Night: - ok so me russ and shawny decided to bail on a fun arvo sesh at pipe wed, for some shopping and some wild times in wollongong. After receiving numerous "you blew it.." texts and phone calls which we shrugged off with no hesitation we hit crown street for a little splurge of some hard earned cash. High scores were being tossed around by the fellas as we scouted the place for chiks and summer fasions. Russ even managed to fall head over heels for a Gloria Jeans chik which he made us pursue while she was on her smoko.. the end result saw her going back to work before russ could get her number.. which if he succeeded would have won himself a free dinner also. As the sky dimmed we sat around james dixons throwing out write offs and endulging in the odd beverage or 3. Then it was time to get into action.. after a few basic stretches the crew was ready to hit the clubs and shawny a thing or two with Anthony Showman as the official teacher. Me and burnsy spotted some chiks at The ivory and thought we'd give them a nudge at the glassy, when it came time to hit the floor Dicko did his usual thing and enlightened many as to how to use glassy stage. With the omen of the night being.. "what happens in wollongong stays in wollongong" i cant say too much, however Russ Quinn newly aquired facial hair did manage to tickle a few cheeks!

Girls, boys and CHIKS!:- Wow soo many girls around lately.. well not literally.. but amongst our little crew of humans and pipeliners. A few of the fellas have been under the spell lately of some lovely adoring females, Kim Zammit and Mr Brown Sugar just to name a few. Also word on the street the elusive "Huntsman" has also trapped a few victims in her web of late, beware young boys this huntsman may be venemous!

Woohoo CHIKS not the actual female lifeforms but the bodyboarding film by Jack Dobinson and James Kates. Its premiereing at TIGS in wollongong this Friday soo get up there doors open at 7pm should be some insane footage of up and coming south coast rippos!

Russ's 21st: - Russ is 21 this friday soo send him some well wishes and what not. ACS team is taking some shape now also with the addition of Tom Robinson to add to the other crew including Matt Young, Ian Osterloh, Korey Smith, MOrgan Brown, Russ Quinn, Adam Quinn, Michael Chapple and Eli Beach. Pipe: - Wow well and truly pipe season now.. the fellas of the south coast region have been super spoilt with south swells and ne winds lately, no surprise though the rest of the east coast has been all over it as well. Definately plenty of capturable footage over the last 3 weeks, with Ben Player and Dallas Singer dominating a recent session. Korrey "workaholic" Smith claims some of the best late arvo sessions since the days were it was just him stoney, churchy, choc and the bear! wooah.

Lance Huford: - South oz shralper.. finally has proved himself as one of the crew with a decent punt during the pipe swells and also showing some improved form.. For all the skeptics out there take a look at the shot above clean vert out of a solid ramp woo. Keep up this stuff Mr Huff!

Team Shoestring reign supreme

Sporting egg carton shin pads and op-shop apparel, team Shoestring marched onto the soccer fields at Sussex tonight and assassinated the Kermits 5-4. Onlookers were stunned by the unexpected aptitude of team Shoestring in their debut match. In a Forrest Gump inspired story, Jono Safinski ignored doctor’s pleas to rest his knee and took to the field in a rather aggression fashion. Within three minutes Safinski took out ‘the menace’ in a savage tackle from behind and showed no remorse. The girl was stretchered off by paramedics. Shawny was dominating the field in the first half but was sent off by Kiz after an own goal through the legs of Toss. After a succinct "SEAYA" Kiz took to the back and began hurling abuse at the opposition. A quick scuffle broke out but it was soon resolved. Team Shoestrings will be running training sessions at 6:00AM Wednesday mornings, cardio Thursday evenings and liver treatment Friday nights. Next game is 7:30PM next Tuesday at Sussex. SEAYA there!

Currently I am infatuated with browsing the internet for pointless and just plain weird facts. After snapping a shot of this seemingly irate canine on the beach at pipe, I got thinking about whether or not dogs experience emotion. I mean, clearly this protruding jaw is evidence that it’s not only humans that occasionally neg-out about life. Well, a recent study by a psychologist and animal behavior expert in England revealed that dogs show emotions such as jealousy, shame, embarrassment, anxiety, pride, anger and surprise. Amazing isn’t it. Yes? No? meh…
